While you may think of Argentina first, Malbec actually originated in France as one of the red grapes in a classic Bordeaux blend.  It moved to Argentina in the 1850's where it thrives in high altitude vineyards.  Here is not exception with ours coming from the Sierra Foothills with the warm days and cool nights that Malbec loves.
