The nose has hints of green apple skin, Meyer Lemon and fine green herbs like chervil and arugula.  Fruit on the palate is much juicier with nectarine, persimmon and Asian pear.  Light and fresh but with more depth than one would expect from California Pinot Grigio.  A touch of bitter herb on the extended finish begs for a piece of hard Italian cheese.
